2. Embed QuickTime jQuery Plugin

Embed QuickTime is a jQuery plugin that helps you embed QuickTime movies to play directly on your webpage, instead of redirecting your video to a separate page or forcing you to embed a video using Flash. It changes regular image links to the embedded QuickTime video when they are clicked.

CeeBox creates a lightbox-like popup overlay for images, image, html via ajax and iframe (both modal and non-modal), and flash movies. Videos will be displayed in a popup simply by adding “ceebox” to a link a YouTube movie page. CeeBox supports auto-embeded popups for Google Video, YouTube, Metacafe, Vimeo, Dailymotion, iFilm, and Facebook videos.

Mallery is a multifunctional media gallery that can handle all kind of data types you can imagine, including not just pictures, but flash videos as well. You can configure the mallery data types handling via xml-file.

16. jQuery youtube playlist plugin – youtubeplaylist

For a recent client project, we wanted to be able to turn a list of YouTube links into a playlist. This would allow the client to manage their videos on YouTube and simply insert links to the videos on their site. With javascript enabled a nice playlist is created, whilst without javasript the user gets a regular list of links to youtube pages.
