Best jQuery Video Plugins

Integrating videos is no longer a hassle! Thanks to jQuery, there are a number of jQuery plugins that can help stream videos from your favorite websites easily. Display videos and video playlits in style with these jQuery video plugins.

1. jQuery Tutorial – Use jQuery to turn off the lights while watching videos

Some videos on YouTube have a cool feature called “Turn the lights down”. Basically, when you turn lights down, the entire page darkens and let you watch video as if you are in the cinema. This tutorial will show you how to implement this simple effect.

2. jQuery youtube playlist plugin – youtubeplaylist

For a recent client project, we wanted to be able to turn a list of YouTube links into a playlist. This would allow the client to manage their videos on YouTube and simply insert links to the videos on their site. JBEdit is an AJAX online video editor (based on jQuery), where the edit capabilities reside on server side. You can extract a selection and tag it. All the edit is done on MP4 videos via ffmpeg.
